At My Dentist at Cannon Hill, we’re a team that loves to listen – and talk – to you about your teeth. When you visit we like to know everything about your teeth. We also like to explain all treatments or procedures and we love to answer your questions. We believe it’s important for us to get to know your teeth – but also for you to understand, and be happy, about the care we offer.
We’re fussy about quality. Dental equipment and products, like anything else, vary in quality and performance. So, we are very fussy about what we use to care for our patients. We only choose trusted and proven equipment and products to use at our practice.
We like our creature comforts, and we know you do too. We have purposely designed our practice to ensure your comfort from the moment you enter through the door. Our suites are equipped with ceiling-mounted 43 inch Samsung screens and wireless headphones to watch TV or Netflix or listen to music. We also have an arcade machine offering thousands of games, including classics such as Street Fighter, Golden Axe, NBA Jam, Pac Man, Space Invaders, Final Fight. Take a virtual walkthrough of our modern setting that seamlessly blends state-of-the-art technology with a calming atmosphere, setting the stage for optimal oral health and a truly enjoyable visit.
We like to see you relaxed about your visit. We understand receiving a dental treatment can make people nervous. If you are feeling nervous or anxious about anything, please let us know so we can discuss how we can make you feel more comfortable. For example, to help calm nerves we have ‘happy gas’ available. If you don’t like needles, we have a special wand that administers painless injections – known as The Wand STA, it’s a new method to administer pain-free local anesthetic.
We’re also clean freaks. Our dental instruments and suites go through a stringent and rigorous cleaning process after each appointment. We like to keep everything squeaky clean.
