Fees and Payment Options
When it comes to costs, we don’t like surprises, and we’re pretty sure you don’t either.
To avoid any surprises about dental fees, we always provide a quote before we begin any treatment – so you can be confident in the service and care you will receive from us. In addition, we offer a number of payment options, including HICAPS and interest-free plans.
Helping make dental care accessible
Our priority is to help you maintain healthy teeth and gums for the long-term because – and as more research is showing – there is a strong link between oral health and general health. So, we are always happy to discuss and tailor a treatment plan to suit your needs and budget.
For instance, if your teeth need a major treatment, such as a crown, root canal or teeth straightening, we will first discuss what treatment options are available and the cost of each option. We may also recommend which option we think is best for you, but ultimately you decide on the treatment option.
If you require a few different treatments to restore your teeth to good health, we can discuss a plan to complete those treatments in order of priority, and over what time period, to suit your budget and/or health care arrangements.
As we are advocates for ‘prevention is better than cure’, our priority is to provide our community with the best in quality dental services and patient care to encourage everyone to keep their teeth and smile healthy for the long term.
The payment options we offer are:
- EFTPOS
- Credit card
Visa, Mastercard, American Express (no surcharges)
- HICAPS for health fund claims
HICAPS offers the convenience of on-the-spot claims and payments from your health fund at the time of treatment. Meaning the only expense you may incur is any gap amount – that is, the difference between the fee and the amount your health fund provided to cover that fee. To check if your health fund is a HICAPS partner, please check with your health fund provider on the HIPCAPS site.
- Bulk Bill Dentistry for Eligible Children
If you have children aged between 2 and 17, they may be eligible for the federal government’s Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule. This means we can bulk bill their basic dental care, leaving you with no out-of-pocket expenses.
Under this program each eligible child can receive up to $1000 in benefits for basic dental services over two (calendar) years. The services eligible under this benefit include: examinations, x-rays, cleaning, fissure sealing, fillings, root canals, extractions and partial dentures.
A child is eligible if they are aged between 2 and 17 years and receive a relevant Australian government payment, such as Family Tax Benefit Part A, at any point during the calendar year. If you would like more information please contact our friendly team.
